A Wisconsin native, Theresa has a BA, MSSW, and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a published author, and owns a part time consulting and training business. Theresa began taking art classes over thirty years ago, and on moving to Waupaca in the mid-1990s became serious about her artwork, winning numerous awards for her watercolor paintings. Living on the Waupaca River, Theresa paints scenes from the natural environment that surrounds her. “I love the fluidity, the surprise, and the challenge of watercolors and never tire of finding new ways to make watercolors interact.” This curiosity also applies to Theresa's jewelry as she combines natural and semi-precious beads in unique ways that reflect her love of color and design.
