Sharon’s work is well-known beyond the borders of Wisconsin. She has received blue ribbons including “best workmanship” and “Judge's Choice” awards. She has juried into major quilt shows at Paducah, KY; Flint, MI; and St. Paul MN. Also, one of her quilts was featured in a special on Wisconsin Public Television.

“I have been interested in art since I was a child. I sewed for many years—until I finally had enough scraps to make a quilt. Since then, my artistic urge has inspired me to make more creative projects.”

Sharon creates both traditional and art quilts. “I love using many fabrics and colors and creating a watercolor effect.”
